Diversification of the Year - Gold Winner
Established in February 2020 we help bring the local community together to aid wellbeing and also develop their skills in many areas of life with agriculture being a main feature.
Our organisation aspires to work on the social disconnect between urban and rural lifestyles and aims to educate the local towns, cities and even rural villages about agriculture and its importance to our Great British Communities.
Agri-cation is also dedicated to working closely with the unemployed, providing them with opportunities to upskill and enhance their employability. Through workshops, training programs, and mentorship, we help individuals gain the confidence and expertise needed to secure meaningful employment.
The founder of Agri-cation, Cheryl Reeves, comes from an urban background with the insight to drive our organisation from the grass roots helping develop individual’s knowledge to a stage where they are able to look at employment in areas such as horticulture, agriculture, research and development, STEM (science technology engineering and maths).
Our community green space is utilised by local support groups and corporate companies to help with mental health and wellbeing of individuals.
Agri-cation provide bespoke educational visits for primary and secondary schools and further education colleges.
